Alternative Photo Processes

Lee's adventure in alternative processes:

A few years ago I decided that I wanted to try some obsolete processes, just so I could say that I had done It.

I started by doing quite a bit of reading about the history of photography and the particulars of various processes. An especially informative book is "The Keepers of Light" by William Crawford.

My next step was to decide which ones I wanted to try. Since I didn't want to sink a lot of money into this project, I tried to choose those which involved the least expensive chemicals. I also planned so that I wouldn't have a large amount of those expensive chemicals left over.
